ATV de-docking successful

After five months docked onto the International Space Station (ISS), the ATV Jules Verne separated gently from the Station at 23.30 on Friday 5 September to begin the final phase of its mission.

With the Jules Verne successfully de-docked, the first ATV has performed in full its first service mission of cargo delivery, refuelling and providing reboost capacity to the ISS.
