Green light for Space Shuttle ‘Atlantis’ Mission STS-122

Following the final Flight Readiness Review, NASA has formally announced that the Space Shuttle Atlantis will be launched on 6 December at 22.31 CET from Launchpad 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. Atlantis will be carrying the Europe’s Columbus space laboratory, developed and built by Astrium on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA).
