Graduate Development Programme (GDP)
Our GDP is a two-year programme designed to support graduates with less than two years’ post-graduate professional work experience. Its purpose is to provide a framework to guide and support you through the first stage of your career development.
Join us as a graduate on this scheme and you will gain a comprehensive understanding of what we do and how we do it while working on various placements in different business areas. During this time you will also receive a wide range of training and development to build your personal and management skills and equip you for your future career with Astrium.
You will be based mainly in Portsmouth or Stevenage. However your rotational placements may temporarily take you to any site in the UK or across to our sites in France, Germany or Spain.

Direct Entry Graduate scheme (DEG)
This scheme is open to graduates who prefer a less structured route to a career with Astrium. You will be recruited directly into a specific business area to concentrate on developing your technical skills.
