Solar cell assembly
The Solar Cell Assembly (SCA) is the integration of the bare solar cell with the connector and the cover glass. Astrium provides automated manufacturing of SCA' s for a number of cell types.

The SCA' s are typically delivered to companies with their own lay-down capabilities, especially for small satellites, where lay-down is easier. Hence typical customers are IAI (Israel), ISRO (India) and SSTL (UK).
