This nondestructive process aims at test pressurization on hollow body or at characterization of tightness.

*Performance of means*

PRESSURIZATION MEAN

  • Water pressurization bench in a specific tests chamber :

-520 bars

-700 bars

  • Gas pressurization bench (Nitrogen or Helium) in Merlon :

-800 bars

  • Measurement centralizing HBM (displacement monitoring, stress and temperature measurement)
  • Automatic cycles running

LEAK TESTING MEAN

  • Bench : 800 bars Helium under chamber (global inverse)
  • Leak level measurement with masse spectrometers Leybold UL 500 fit with automatic autocalibration leak system (smallest detectible leak signal : 10-11 PA m3 s-1)
  • Test chamber affords to characterize specimen 1 m x 1 m

THERMAL AND/OR PRESSURE CYCLE

  • Test on Merlon
  • Chamber 1 m x 1,5 m x 1,5 m
  • Temperature from -60°C to + 200°C
  • Measurement mean HBM (displacement monitoring, stress and temperature measurement)
  • Automatic cycles running

SPECIFIC GAS TESTS

  • Maximum 1000 bars.
