General facilities / Shocks table
Facilities
Modern pyrotechnic test facilities are available in Aquitaine and Les Mureaux establishments to test equipment or assemblies containing inert or active pyrotechnic components.
A shock table allows verification of the ability of tested equipment to withstand the mechanical environment and to operate under pyrotechnic generated shocks simulating real conditions (measurements up to 250 000 g). Thus, it is possible: to characterize generated pyrotechnic shocks, and to qualify equipment to simulated shock levels. Mesurements up to 250 000 g.
Services
- Test predictions calculation.
- Global test management and implementation of qualification tests to pyrotechnic shocks with orresponding measurements (metal or composite structures.)
- Test report including structural shock propagation measurements and shock responses spectrums.
- Pyrotechnic training :
-on site.
-pyrotechnic safety audits.

-Dimensions can be adapted according to the specimen to be tested (if > 60 kg or dimensions > 600 mm).
- Shock response spectrum in severity zone defines the performances level.
- Constitution
-an upper plate linked to a test table by means of a damping system,
-a pyrotechnic generator
