Solar array drive electronics (SADE)
The Solar Array Drive Electronics bases on the Astrium Universal Motor Control Electronics (MCE). Solar Array steering is performed according to given mode commands. The actual Solar Array position is reported via digital telemetry; Interface for SA reference switches, potentiometer or encoder available.
Autonomous operational modes available for continuous rotation in sun tracking speed, angular pointing, etc.
