The set of MIL-STD-1553B products developed by Astrium provides a wide variety of cost effective and highly reliable solutions for space applications:

  • The MIL-STD-1553B Single Transceiver is manufactured in hybrid technology. It consists of a complete transmitter and receiver.
  • The MIL-STD-1553B Dual Transceiver .
  • The MIL-STD-1553B Remote Terminal ASIC is able to manage the MIL-STD-1553B dialogue in the remote terminal only.
  • The MIL-STD-1553B Remote Terminal Coupler is manufactured in hybrid technology. This module includes a Single Transceiver and a Remote Terminal.
  • The MIL-STD-1553B Bus Controller/ Remote Terminal/Bus Monitor ASIC manages the MIL-STD-1553B dialogue in the following modes: bus controller (BC), remote terminal (RT) and bus monitor (BM).
  • The MIL-STD-1553B Repeater ASIC can interconnect up to 6 data buses.
