Hold down and release mechanism (HRM)

The hold down mechanism consists of the interface structure (cup-cone connection), the separation bolt, the separation nut with pyro igniters and a bolt catcher. The system can be adapted to a variety of interface loads by pre-load adjustment and to mechanical interfaces according to the application.
