Core radar electronics subsystem - CRESS
CRESS: Designed to provide standard functions for a variety of sensors, particularly Synthetic Aperture Radar's (SARs). Modular, flexible and expandable the CRESS consists of three equipments: Baseband, IF and Mission dependent filter - providing instrument control and monitoring, RF transmit signal generation and Receive signal detection and digitisation. Selected as the Sensor Electronics for Canada's RADARSAT- 2 spaceborne SAR instrument, the CRESS provides cost effective solutions for a variety of space applications.
