The animation illustrates the different steps of the spacecraft’s journey to the Moon, from the launch up to the fully automated descent down to the landing site near the south pole of the Moon.
After landing, the Moon rover will leave the landing module and start to explore the surface. At the same time, a variety of stationary instruments will start to record experimental data.
