Satellite propulsion systems contain a great deal of top-class technology. Specialising in this field, the Lampoldshausen site has become a centre of excellence unique to its kind anywhere in Europe. These days, any European satellite not equipped with engines from Lampoldshausen is likely to be a rarity.
