Located near Madrid Barajas Airport, the site boasts the most advanced facilities, in grounds of more than 27,000 m². Experience gained over the past 40 years has turned it into a European centre of excellence in composites for space applications. It specialises in systems and is a prime contractor for the development and construction of satellites, payloads and on-board instruments. Structural, thermal, antenna and wiring subsystems for satellites (including ESA), launchers (Ariane 5, Soyuz and Vega) and the International Space Station are also produced at this site, home of the leading Spanish space company.

By car

From the Airport

Take the motorway N-100 “Nudo De Eisenhower”. At the first junction turn off onto the E-90/N-II “Avenida De Aragón” and take the service lane. The site is located on the right, practically at the end of the service lane.

From the city

Exit Madrid in an easterly direction, either via the “Avenida de América” or the M-30 (airport exit). Continue on the A-2. Exit at Junction 12 towards “Vía de Servicio - Coslada - San Fernando” and continue to the end.

By train

Take the local train at any of the following stations in Madrid: Atocha, Recoletos, Nuevos Ministerios or Chamartín (destination Guadalajara-C2). Get off at the San Fernando stop. It is possible to walk from the station (15–20 minutes) although we suggest you take a taxi.

By bus

The 281, 282 and 284 buses leave from Avenida América for San Fernando/Coslada. All three buses stop directly in front of the main entrance of EADS at kilometre 15 of the A-2. Cost: €1.65.

By company shuttle

The company shuttle departs from Av. América hourly from 8 am to 12 pm.
