Today's activities
Today the last activities on the launcher took place. First the removal of the diving boards was done. Then final fairing door closure followed by inspections and preparations for transfer to launch pad. The transfer of the Ariane launch vehicle with Herschel and Planck has been done and the launcher is placed on the launch pad.The next activities to be done:
  • - Upper S/C (Herschel) in safe state before STFO switch
  • - Herschel checks after STFO switch
