Hot Bird 8, Hot Bird 9 and Hot Bird 10 are three identical satellites ordered by the international telecommunications satellite operator Eutelsat to build the core of their Hot Bird satellite system located at 13° East, their premium video neighbourhood broadcasting 1,110 television channels and 540 radio stations to 110 million cable and satellite homes across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.

Prime contractor for the three satellites, Astrium is responsible for the both the all-Ku, 12 kW payloads and the Eurostar E3000 platforms.

Hot Bird 8 was launched in August 2006, Hot Bird 9 in December 2008 and Hot Bird 10 in February 2009.
