Telekommunikationsdienste
Astrium Services ist über seinen Geschäftsbereich Telecom Services als weltweit einziger Anbieter in der Lage, jeden Bedarf an umfassenden Dienstleistungs- und Systemlösungen im Bereich der satellitengestützten Telekommunikation aus einer Hand zu decken – für Geschäftskunden wie für Streitkräfte und in jedem für die Telekommunikation genutzten Frequenzband.
Lieferung kompletter Satellitenkommunikationssysteme und Erbringung lückenloser End-to-End-Satellitendienstleistungen: Bereitstellung militärischer Satellitenkapazitäten, Terminal-Vermietung sowie Bereitstellung und Betrieb von VSAT-Netzen und „Welfare“‑Truppenkommunikationsdiensten; ferner Zugriff auf Drittnetze für ortsfeste oder mobile kommerzielle Satellitendienste – z. B. auf die Netze von Iridium, Globalstar und Inmarsat als Betreiber fester Satellitenfunkdienste – sowie auf terrestrische Glasfasernetze.
Der Bezug der Dienste ist entweder ortsgebunden über Festantennen oder mobil über transportfähige Terminals möglich.

Paradigm Service
Paradigm is the world’s first commercial provider of military band satellite communications and the only provider of end-to-end, hardened and protected satellite services, using X-band and UHF frequencies compliant to NATO standards. Paradigm’s WelComE (Welfare Communications Everywhere) services enable military personnel to make telephone calls, access the Internet and available WiFi services from operational theatres worldwide, as part of the MoD-funded welfare package.

MilSat Services
MilSat Services is prime contractor for the German Armed Forces‘ satellite communications programme SATCOMBw Step 2, which comprises the delivery of two satellites operating in the military frequency bands, commercial satellite capacity, and an extensive ground segment, including communications and control stations. MilSat Services has been operating an anchor station and providing commercial capacity for the German Armed Forces since October 2007.
